AFCEA Golf Tournament sponsored by Bit-Wizards

Pensacola, Florida – Bit-Wizards was once again a Gold Sponsor for the 2008 Annual AFCEA Golf Tournament. The tournament is the primary fund raising event for funding scholarship awards to deserving students in the Pensacola area.
Support for higher education is a primary focus for the AFCEA organization at the local and national level. In recent years, local engineering and technology students received several thousands of dollars in scholarships from the AFCEA scholarship fund.
While the purpose of the tournament is to raise funds, it is also a great opportunity to spend a day on the golf course. Bit-Wizards fielded two teams with the ‘Mayfield’ team posting a respectable 69. While the other team didn’t score as well, they had fun and provided entertainment for everyone else.
